Where Are We Coming From?

Keswick Web Design evolved from beginnings in guiding and instructing outdoor activities. A group of us got our heads together to offer skills based outdoor activity courses, as part of this we needed a website to advertise this newly formed company. Fortunately Corin had a base in computing (being a bit of a geek at heart!) and offered to build a website. The initial attempts were as to be expected but over the next few years and after lots of late night coding sessions he became adept at flash programming, html, css, ajax and other emerging technologies. Eventually Corin realised the benefits of a content management system and moved to Mambo CMS and then onto the Joomla CMS system. Using Joomla as a base for website content which could be updated by clients whenever they wished proved a key step and together with an ever increasing portfolio of clients Keswick Web Design was born.

Over several years websites were designed for friends and colleagues and new clients appeared by word of mouth, eventually allowing Keswick Web Design to become a full time occupation, it was soon realised that offering web hosting and domain names would be a positive step forward to bring together many of the aspects involved in website creation. Our ever increasing client base is testament to the quality of sites we now produce and we now have over a decade of experience in web design and new media

Where are we based?

Keswick Web Design are normally based in Cumbria near to Keswick in the Northern Lake District. However we operate throughout the United Kingdom and abroad due to the wide range of communication possibilities the internet provides. This allows us to provide excellent support to clients far and wide, even when we're on our holidays! All of our clients have easily accessible contact to us at all times using our permanent UK telephone/fax numbers, Skype, and email.
