Where Are We Coming From?

Keswick Web Design have been involved in web design and new media technologies for over 12 years and after acquiring a core knowledge of flash programming, html, css, ajax and other emerging technologies we have over the past 6 years specialised in open source content management systems (CMS) and software.

Using a CMS as a base for website content which can be updated by clients whenever they wished has proved a key step for us in allowing our sites to be dynamic and client generated as much as possible. We firmly believe that our clients should be able to add and edit their own content whenever they wish from any internet connected computer. Not only does this massively reduce ongoing costs for our clients it also allows for a very fresh feel to any website and moves the game on from the traditional need of having to contact a web designer for each individual change.

During our initial years our websites were designed for friends and colleagues and new clients appeared by word of mouth, this eventually resulted in several major clients who we are proud to be involved with. We also made a decision several years ago to offer web hosting and domain names alongside our design service which has allowed us to bring together many of the aspects involved in website creation and make the whole design process even simpler for our clients.

Our ever increasing client base is testament to the quality of sites we now produce and we now have well over a decade of experience in Web Design and New Media.

Where are we based?

Keswick Web Design are normally based in Cumbria near to Keswick in the Northern Lake District. However we operate throughout the United Kingdom and abroad due to the wide range of communication possibilities the internet provides. This allows us to provide excellent support to clients far and wide, even when we're on our holidays! All of our clients have easily accessible contact to us at all times using our permanent UK telephone/fax numbers, Skype, and email.

As a registered member Keswick Web Design must adhere to a code of conduct and ethics.
